How much does HFX Cost?

At the time of your HFX consultation, in most cases you can expect to pay your regular copay cost for a specialist visit.

• This includes Aetna, Humana, United, Cigna, and Blue Cross Blue Shield
• Just like any medical procedure, typically you can expect to pay the cost of any unmet deductible for the year, along with any copay or coinsurance fee required for a procedure, as detailed in your unique plan benefits
• Medicare and all Medicare Supplemental/Medicare Replacement insurances cover HFX
• While there is a coinsurance amount for Medicare, if you have Medicare Supplemental insurance, you can expect to pay even less
• Most states’ Medicaid policies and Managed Medicaid plans cover HFX (e.g. Marketplace/Health-Exchange plans)
• It’s important to check to see if your physician accepts this type of insurance
• HFX is available for veterans and active-duty military members or their families at select VA and military hospitals across the US
