Thanks to HFX, Stephen No Longer Depends on Pain Medication for Pain Relief
“By the time I stopped working in 2010 I could barely move,” Stephen recalled.
During the course of the next eight years Stephen had multiple surgeries, including five fusions, and hundreds of injections and also radio frequency ablations and he relied on pain medication.
“Nothing helped with the pain,” Stephen said. “I couldn’t sit for more than a few minutes and driving and taking a plane flight was very uncomfortable.”
In 2018 Stephen consulted Dr. Michael Umanoff who recommended an HFX trial. “During my trial in early November 2018 my pain score went from a 10 to a 2/3 and I got my implant at the end of that month,” Stephen explained.
“I’ve gone from taking 90 oxycodone a month to not taking any pain meds.” said Stephen. “Simple everyday tasks, such as getting dressed, are easier and I can sit through a movie, have date nights with my wife and drive and fly without pain — including a recent trip to the Cayman Islands. Life is so much better with HFX!”
