Thanks to HFX, Angie Was Able to Return to Work
“Instead of sitting at home in pain dreaming about things on my bucket list, with HFX I’ve had the chance to live some of them,” said Angie.
“Before HFX, the highlight of most of my housebound days was hearing about my husband and children’s lives or online interactions,” Angie recalled.
“Once or twice a week was my limit for outings, except for doctor’s appointments, and time away from home was exhausting because of my excruciating pain. Even a part-time job was more than I could manage.”
Angie pursued various treatments, including injections and a spinal fusion, in her failed quest for relief before Dr. Michael Esposito recommended an HFX trial. The trial took place in May 2019 followed by her implant the following month.

“I have 90% pain relief most of the time,” Angie said. “Since getting my implant, I’ve gone hiking in the mountains in Colorado, volunteered with my son’s high school marching band and I was able to sit through all of my son’s high school graduation.”
Angie also has a full-time job now.
“I’m so grateful for the freedom and pain relief HFX has brought my way and I’m looking forward to many more adventures.”
